Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED) Announces Fresh Date for 17th Convocation Ceremony

TASUED

Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED) has officially fixed a new date for its 17th Convocation Ceremony, following an earlier postponement.

According to the university’s management, the convocation will now take place on Thursday, 29 January 2026.

Reason for the Change

The university explained that the adjustment in date was unavoidable. While acknowledging the inconvenience the delay may have caused, the management expressed appreciation to graduands, parents, and invited guests for their understanding and patience throughout the period.

Existing Arrangements Remain Valid

TASFUED clarified that all guidelines, arrangements, and information previously released for the ceremony remain unchanged. Graduating students and guests are therefore advised to continue preparing based on earlier instructions. Further updates, including the detailed programme of events, will be communicated in due course.

Part of Anniversary Celebrations

The rescheduled convocation will also serve as part of activities marking the university’s 20 + 1 anniversary, adding special significance to the occasion. The event is expected to be a memorable milestone for graduands, their families, and the entire university community.

Appreciation from Management

The university concluded the announcement by thanking students, staff, alumni, and friends of the institution for their continued support and cooperation.
