KASU Opens Application for Part-Time Degree Programmes

Kaduna State University (KASU) has officially announced the commencement of online applications for its part-time degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. The sale of forms began on 5 December 2025 and will continue until 19 January 2026.

These programmes are designed for individuals seeking flexible learning options without pausing their jobs or daily commitments. Through the School of Continuing Education, KASU provides a broad mix of part-time study paths across arts, management, sciences, and social sciences.

Available Part-Time Degree Programmes

KASU’s part-time degrees are offered across four major faculties:

Faculty of Arts

• B.A. Arabic

• B.A. Hausa

Faculty of Management Sciences

• B.Sc. Accounting
  
• B.Sc. Business Administration

Entry Requirements for Applicants

O’Level Requirements

All applicants must have at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.

Direct Entry Admission

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must have:

• The required five O’Level credits
  
• The relevant points for their chosen programme
  

Holders of NCE or Diploma certificates may be considered for admission into 200 level.

Top-Up Programme Requirements

Applicants seeking a top-up must possess:

• Five relevant O’Level credits
  
• An HND certificate or a B.Sc. (Third Class)
  
• NYSC Certificate or exemption
  

Successful candidates in this category may be admitted directly into 400 level.

Important Note

Applicants who completed their schooling over five years ago must present the original certificates, as statements of results will not be accepted.

• ₦10,000 for Nigerian applicants
  
• $20 for non-Nigerians

1. Visit applicant.safapply.com/kasusce and select College of Continuing Education.
   
2. Create an account. Login details will be sent to your email.
   
3. Log in to your dashboard and fill in your personal information.
   
4. Follow the payment instructions provided.
   
5. Once payment is confirmed, complete the application form.
   
6. Use Preview & Submit to cross-check details.
   
7. Click Update Form if corrections are needed.
   
8. Select Submit Form to finalise your application.
   

Candidates offered provisional admission will be required to present all original documents during screening and registration.

Application Deadline & Programme Duration

The sale of forms closes on 19 January 2026.

Programme Duration Based on Entry Level

• 100 Level: Minimum of 5 sessions
  
• 200 Level: Minimum of 4 sessions
  
• 400 Level (Top-Up): Minimum of 2 sessions
