The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has issued a directive to all faculties to urgently compile and submit the details of students with incomplete biodata on the university portal.
According to an internal memo signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Moji T. Bakare-Odunola, the institution observed that many students still have missing or incorrect information such as Date of Birth, State of Origin, and Local Government Area.
One-Week Deadline Begins December 4
Faculties have been instructed to inform their Heads of Departments (HODs) and ensure that affected students submit all required documents within one week, starting from December 4, 2025.
Documents Required From Students
The memo outlined the following requirements:
- Students with Date of Birth discrepancies must submit:
Their NIN slip, and
Their JAMB profile. - Students with State or Local Government issues must provide:
A valid certificate of citizenship.
Resolution Timeline
Once each department completes its collation, the Faculty IT Officer is expected to review and resolve all submitted cases within 72 hours, ensuring the records are updated promptly on the university system.
