The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that the list of applicants shortlisted for physical screening and document verification in its ongoing recruitment exercise will be released on December 1, 2025.
This update was issued on Friday by the Board Secretary, Abdulmalik Jubril, who advised applicants to visit the official recruitment portal to confirm their status.
Candidates to Check Portal Between December 1–3
According to Mr. Jubril, all applicants are expected to log in to the board’s recruitment platform, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, between December 1 and 3 to find out if they made the shortlist.
He explained that only candidates who met the required performance standards were selected on merit.
“Applicants who performed well have been shortlisted on merit and are advised to visit the portal from Monday to Wednesday to choose their preferred screening venue and date,” he said.
Agencies Involved in the Recruitment
The ongoing recruitment covers the following paramilitary agencies under the board:
- Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB)
- Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
- Federal Fire Service (FFS)
- Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)
- Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
Screening Exercise to Hold December 8–12 Nationwide
The board further disclosed that the physical screening and document verification for shortlisted applicants will take place from December 8 to 12, 2025, in all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
Mr. Jubril stressed that:
- All official updates will be communicated only through the recruitment portal.
- Applicants should ignore any messages sent via email or other channels.
Selection Process Based on Federal Character
He congratulated candidates who successfully made the list and emphasized that the shortlisting process followed the Federal Character principle as well as the manpower requirements of each service.
