All prospective students who applied to Akwa Ibom Poly are encouraged to check their admission status immediately. Once admitted, candidates must follow the required steps to accept the offer on JAMB CAPS, pay the stipulated acceptance fee, and prepare for departmental screening.

How to Check the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Supplementary Admission List

To confirm your admission status:

1. Visit the official post containing the updated admission list.
   
2. The school publishes the supplementary list on its verified Facebook page.
   
3. Carefully go through the list to search for your name and programme.
   
4. Once your name appears, proceed to JAMB CAPS to accept the offer.
   

How to Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS

Every admitted candidate must first accept the admission through JAMB before beginning any registration at the polytechnic.

Follow the steps below:

1. Visit the JAMB CAPS portal and log in with your JAMB email and password.
   
2. Click on Admission Status.
   
3. Select Accept Admission.
   
4. Print your JAMB Admission Letter – this will be required during screening and other registration procedures.
   

Failing to accept the admission on CAPS may cause delays or loss of the offer.

Payment of Acceptance Fee

Once your admission has been confirmed and accepted on JAMB CAPS, proceed to pay the official acceptance fee.

Payment Steps

1. Visit the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Portal.
   
2. Generate a Remita invoice for the acceptance fee.
   
3. Pay the ₦15,000 non-refundable acceptance fee through any of the officially approved channels displayed on the portal.
   
4. Print your payment receipt for departmental screening.
   

Note: Payment of the acceptance fee begins Monday, 1 December 2025, from 12:00 PM.

After successfully paying the acceptance fee:

1. Report to your department with the Remita invoice and payment receipt.
   
2. Submit all required documents for screening.
