Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic ND Admission in Law for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, announces the commencement of admissions into its National Diploma (ND) programme in Law for the 2025/2026 academic session. Qualified and interested candidates are invited to apply.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the ND Law admission screening, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  1. First Choice Requirement:
    Candidates must select Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic as their first choice institution during the 2025 UTME.
  2. Minimum UTME Score:
    A minimum UTME score of 120 is required.
  3. O’Level Requirements:
    Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  4. Age Requirement:
    Applicants must be 16 years or above by 30th September 2025.

Method of Application

Applicants are to follow the steps below to complete their registration:

  1. Visit the Polytechnic’s official website:
    https://www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng
  2. Click on “Online Application” and generate an invoice (RRR) using the following details:
    • JAMB Registration Number
    • Phone Number
    • Full Name
  3. Proceed to any commercial bank in Nigeria to pay ₦2,000 (inclusive of bank charges) for the screening fee and obtain the electronic application PIN.
  4. After payment, return to the website and use the PIN to complete the online application form.
  5. Upload your WAEC/NECO O’Level results on both:
    • JAMB Portal
    • Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Portal
  6. Submit your application, then download and print the acknowledgement slip as proof of registration.

Documents Required for Screening

Candidates should visit the Department of Law with the following documents for screening:

  1. Photocopy of JAMB registration slip with passport photograph
  2. Original JAMB online result
  3. All relevant academic credentials
  4. Valid scratch card(s) for verification of WAEC/NECO results

Application Closing Date

The deadline for the submission of applications is:

Friday, 5th December 2025.
