The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), through the Office of the Registrar, has released an important update for all National Diploma (ND) full-time applicants for the 2025/2026 academic session. The notice outlines compulsory steps every candidate must complete to avoid delays or loss of admission.
Below is the updated summary of all directives issued by the institution.
1. Mandatory O’Level Result Upload on JAMB CAPS
All ND full-time applicants are required to:
- Upload their complete O’Level results on JAMB CAPS at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre
- Log in to their CAPS profile to verify that the uploaded results are clearly visible
- Complete this process on or before 11:59 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2025
YABATECH also confirmed that admission processing will officially begin on Monday, November 24, 2025, so candidates who fail to upload on time risk being left out of consideration.
2. Change of Course Schedule and Requirements
The college announced that the change of course window will be open from:
Monday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 10, 2025
During this period, interested candidates must:
- Apply for the change of course on both the YABATECH portal and the JAMB portal
- Ensure they meet the correct O’Level and UTME subject combinations for the new programme they wish to switch to
The management also stressed that there will be no extension after the closing date.
3. Acceptance of Admission & Printing of Letters
Applicants who are successfully offered admission must:
- Promptly accept the offer on JAMB CAPS
- Print their JAMB admission letter and institutional admission letter immediately
(Both copies are required for screening and registration.)
Failure to accept admission early may result in withdrawal of the offer.
4. Name Consistency Across All Documents
YABATECH advised all applicants to check that their names appear exactly the same on:
- O’Level results
- JAMB profile
- Birth certificate/age declaration
- Any other supporting documents
Inconsistencies in name arrangement, spelling, or initials can delay or invalidate admission during both online and physical screening.
Final Warning from YABATECH Management
The Registrar cautioned that any applicant who fails to comply with the outlined directives risks forfeiting their admission for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Students are strongly encouraged to act promptly, follow instructions carefully, and monitor official YABATECH channels for further updates.
