Important Next Steps for Admitted Candidates
All candidates offered provisional admission are required to complete the following steps immediately to validate their admission:
1. Upload Your O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS
If you haven’t uploaded your WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results, visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre to upload them. Failure to do so will delay or nullify your admission.
2. Change of Course (If Applicable)
Candidates offered admission into a different course than their initial JAMB application must change to the new course on the JAMB CAPS portal.
After making the change, print out your updated admission status and submit it to the UNN Admissions Office for final approval.
3. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS
Log into your JAMB CAPS profile and click “Accept Admission.”
Candidates who fail to accept their admission will not receive their JAMB Admission Letter, meaning the admission offer will be forfeited.
4. Pay Your UNN Acceptance Fee
- Visit unnportal.edu.ng and log in with your JAMB Registration Number.
- Generate a Remita Payment Invoice and pay the ₦30,000 Acceptance Fee at any commercial bank or UNN Microfinance Bank.
- Ensure your invoice number is correctly entered at the bank and keep your confirmation slip safe.
5. Complete Online Registration
After payment, return to the UNN portal, log in using your Invoice and Confirmation Numbers, print your Admission Slip, and fill out your Acceptance Form online.
Important Notice to Admitted Students
- Admission remains provisional until all verification steps are completed.
