The University of Delta, Agbor (UNIDEL) has officially announced the date and details for its 5th Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to an official statement signed by Richmond Omagbemi (Esq), the University Registrar, the matriculation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, 14th November 2025, beginning with an academic procession at 9:00 a.m.

 Eligibility for Matriculation

The university emphasized that only duly registered new students for the 2025/2026 academic session are eligible to participate in the matriculation ceremony.

In addition, all members of Senate and Congregation are required to take part in the procession, fully dressed in their official academic gowns.

 Collection of Academic Gowns

Faculty Officers are instructed to collect academic gowns for their respective students from the Central Stores starting Wednesday, 12th November 2025, at 12:00 noon.

Students are expected to appear neatly dressed and disciplined throughout the event, maintaining the university’s reputation for excellence and decorum.

 Code of Conduct During the Ceremony

The University Management issued a strong reminder to all students to avoid any form of misconduct or disruptive behavior during the event.
Any action that could tarnish the image of the institution will attract strict disciplinary measures as outlined in the school’s regulations.
