This marks the fourth batch of admissions into the specialized programme aimed at training skilled Anaesthetic Technicians who will support medical professionals in surgical and intensive care procedures.

 About the LASUTH School of Anaesthetic Technology

The School of Anaesthetic Technology at LASUTH offers a three-year professional programme designed to provide both theoretical and hands-on clinical training in anaesthesia practice.

Graduates of the programme will be equipped to work effectively in hospitals, clinics, and surgical theatres across Nigeria, playing crucial roles in patient care during surgery and recovery.

 Entry Requirements

To qualify for admission into the LASUTH School of Anaesthetic Technology, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age Requirement: Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old.
  
• Educational Qualification: A minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in WASSCE, NECO, or SSCE, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  
• Compulsory Subjects: Credits must include English Language and Mathematics, along with two of the three core science subjects — Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  

 Duration of the Programme

The training spans a total of three (3) academic years.
Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a Certificate in Anaesthetic Technology, qualifying them for professional practice in hospitals and healthcare facilities.
