The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has officially announced an extension of its 2025/2026 admission exercise. This follows a directive from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), allowing the university to accommodate more qualified candidates.

According to the new update, the admission exercise will now close on November 17, 2025.

This extension gives candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) another opportunity to apply for admission into selected undergraduate programmes that still have available slots.
