UNN Supplementary & Advertised Courses Admission Lists for 2025/2026 Session Released

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Supplementary and Advertised Courses Admission Lists for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This release includes candidates who have been provisionally recommended for admission into various undergraduate programmes across the university. All successful applicants are advised to follow the outlined steps carefully to confirm, validate, and secure their admission.

 How to Check UNN Supplementary & Advertised Admission Lists

All candidates can now access the official UNN Supplementary and Advertised Courses Admission Lists through the UNN Undergraduate Admissions Portal.

 Visit: https://unnportal.edu.ng
Select “Check Admission Status”, then enter your JAMB Registration Number to view your admission status.

 Instructions for Candidates Recommended for Provisional Admission

All newly admitted candidates are required to complete the following procedures immediately to confirm their admission:

1. Upload O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS

All admitted candidates must upload their O’Level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) results to the JAMB CAPS portal via an approved CBT centre.

 Failure to upload your O’Level results will prevent your admission from being processed or validated by JAMB.

2. Change of Course (If Applicable)

Candidates offered admission into a different course (via Advertised or Supplementary list) must:

  • Visit an accredited JAMB CBT Centre.
  • Perform a Change of Course on JAMB CAPS to reflect the new programme.
  • Print and submit proof of the change to the UNN Admissions Office for verification and activation in CAPS.

3. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS

Once your details are updated:

 Candidates who fail to accept their admission will not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and will be regarded as not admitted.

4. Payment of Acceptance Fee

After accepting your admission on JAMB CAPS:

  1. Visit the UNN website https://unnportal.edu.ng.
  2. Generate a payment invoice containing your Remita Number using your JAMB Registration Number.
  3. Pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦30,000.00 at any commercial bank or the UNN Microfinance Bank.
  4. Obtain a payment confirmation slip containing your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.

5. Print Admission Slip and Complete Online Acceptance Form

Return to the UNN portal, log in using your:

  • JAMB Registration Number
  • Confirmation Number
  • Invoice Number

Then:

  • Print your Admission Slip.
  • Complete and submit the Online Acceptance Form.

6. Proceed with Full Registration

After completing acceptance procedures, candidates should proceed with:

  • Payment of school fees.
  • Departmental course registration.
  • Submission of all required documents to their faculty offices.

 Important Note

This admission is strictly provisional. If at any time— even in your final year— it is discovered that you do not meet the faculty or departmental entry requirements, your admission will be withdrawn immediately in accordance with the university’s Senate regulations.

 Final Advice to Admitted Students

Admitted candidates are urged to:
1) Check and accept admission promptly on JAMB CAPS.
2) Complete all required payments on the UNN portal before the deadline.
3) Regularly monitor their emails and UNN official announcements for registration updates.
