General Entry Requirements

To qualify for admission, applicants must meet the general entry requirements of the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS):

• Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
  
• For Master’s programmes, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least a second-class lower division from a recognized university.
  
• For PhD programmes, candidates must possess a Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or 60% (Grade B).
  
• For the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), applicants must have at least a third-class degree or HND with lower credit from an accredited institution.
  

How to Apply for UNIABUJA Postgraduate Admission

1. Visit the official UNIABUJA postgraduate portal.
   
2. Select Postgraduate and fill in your details (surname, first name, email, and phone number).
   
3. Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay the ₦20,500 application fee via Remita.
   
4. Return to the portal to complete the online form.
   
5. Upload all required documents, including academic transcripts and certificates.
   
6. Download and fill the Transcript Request Form (Form A2) from the portal.
