The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially released the UTME and Direct Entry Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who took part in the UNILAG admission screening exercise can now check their admission status through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.
How to Check UNILAG Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Follow these simple steps to confirm your admission status:
- Visit the JAMB E-Facility Portal.
- Log in with your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to view your result.
If You’ve Been Offered Admission:
- Your passport photograph and a congratulatory message will appear.
- To accept or reject the offer, send ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Once accepted, print your JAMB Admission Letter immediately, this will be required during your clearance and registration at UNILAG.
If You Haven’t Been Admitted Yet:
You’ll see the message: “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
Don’t worry admission lists are released in batches, so check back regularly.
Important Information for All UNILAG Candidates
- Candidates must accept their admission within 4 weeks, or the offer may be withdrawn.
- Those without access to their registered phone numbers should visit any JAMB-accredited centre to accept or reject the admission.
- Ensure your O’level results are correctly uploaded to JAMB CAPS, as this is mandatory for admission confirmation.
- Mobile users: If you only see a welcome message on CAPS, switch your browser to Desktop Site Mode (recommended: Chrome browser) to view the full portal page.
