Great news for prospective students! Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the OAU admission screening exercise can now check whether they have been offered provisional admission into the University.
The management confirmed that the list has been successfully uploaded on both the JAMB CAPS portal and the OAU admission portal, giving candidates multiple ways to confirm their admission status.
How to Check Your OAU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Follow the steps below:
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Log in using your registered email and password
- Select “Check Admission Status”
- Click “Access my CAPS”
- Select “Admission Status” to view your admission update
If admitted
Your passport photo will appear along with a congratulatory message.
If not yet admitted
You will see: “Sorry, No Admission has Been Given Yet”
Don’t worry keep checking regularly as more names will be uploaded soon.
What to Do After OAU Offers You Admission
Accept or Reject admission via SMS:
Text to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
Candidates have 4 weeks to accept their admission offer.
Anyone who fails to confirm acceptance within the deadline risks losing their admission slot.
Once accepted, ensure you:
1 Print your JAMB Admission Letter
2 Print your Original UTME Result Slip
3 Wait for OAU’s clearance and registration instructions
Important Tip for Mobile Users
If checking on a phone, enable Desktop Mode on Chrome browser to see all CAPS features.
Some users may only see the “Welcome” page without full menu options.
