The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who took part in the screening exercise can now check their admission status through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.
How to Check UNIPORT Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
To confirm your admission, carefully follow the steps below:
- Go to the JAMB E-Facility Portal.
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Scroll down and click on Check Admission Status.
- Select Access my CAPS.
- Tap on Admission Status to view your result.
If admitted
- Your photo will appear alongside a congratulatory message.
- Accept or reject the admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- After accepting, print your JAMB Admission Letter immediately. This will be required during clearance and registration at UNIPORT.
If not admitted yet
You will see: “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.” Don’t panic—admissions are released in batches, so keep checking back.
Important Notes for UNIPORT Candidates
- Candidates must accept their admission within 4 weeks or risk losing the offer.
- If your registered phone number is unavailable, visit a JAMB-accredited centre to accept or reject the offer.
- Ensure your O’level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS; otherwise, you will not be considered.
- Phone users who only see the Welcome Page on CAPS should switch to Desktop Site Mode (via Chrome browser) to view the full portal.
